Papa Giuseppe's opened its doors in March 2011, and we've been a Port Credit favourite ever since. Tucked onto Lakeshore Road East, we set out to build the kind of neighbourhood Italian spot that feels less like a restaurant and more like walking into a nonna's kitchen — warm, a little loud, and always with room for one more chair.
Pasta rolled in-house, sauces simmered slow, and a house-made red sangria that regulars will tell you is the best they've ever had. Part of the Pump Hospitality Group family of Port Credit restaurants, we've spent over a decade doing one thing: bringing people together over good food, good wine, and a table worth staying at.
Made the traditional way
Nothing here is rushed or complicated. Recipes passed down and cooked the way they were meant to be, portions built for the middle of the table, and plates that keep coming until everyone is happy. Order a few things, pass them around, and stay a while.
